Two issues that bother me are I have not seen any literature much less a scholarly economic report on Ron Paul's economic platform though wikipedia did a good job as of this date defining it and I have a problem with the legalization of hard drugs. He many interesting and fresh ideas that I do like, however.
I am opposed to the legalization of hard drugs too, but I concur with Paul that it's not within the federal government's constitutional mandate, pursuant to Tenth Amendment to regulate such matters, excepting at international borders perhaps. I doubt any states including Nevada would legalize hard drugs even if the federal government ended its War on Drugs. I think we need to think of the debate in terms of federalism and states' rights.
